Big Adoption Times at the Big Fresno Fair

The Big Fresno Fair is not only the largest annual event in the Central Valley, it is the largest off-site adoption event for the CCSPCA. This year the staff had the thrill of sharing our new mobile unit, housing more animals in the air conditioned comfort that they enjoy.

The exhilaration grew each day as our adoption count climbed and smiling photos of adopting families rolled in. The honor of being a favorite fair attraction peaks when we have our adoption count shared in the “Fun Fair Facts” publication!

Vibrant yellow “Live, Love, Volunteer” T-Shirts shined brightly on the fairgrounds as our volunteers shared with visitors and potential adopters the wonderful individual attributes of our animals looking for homes.

Information about the much needed Community Outreach programs and services we offer was distributed to our visitors, such as low cost spay neuter, vaccine clinics, dog training, and animal abuse reporting.

The Big Fresno Fair allows animals that would not have the same “home finding” opportunity at our Animal Center a chance to showcase their endearing personalities to potential adopters. Fair-going families can make joint decisions together about adding a new member to their life.

This all culminated in 55 (yes, two more were adopted after we submitted our count to the Fair staff), animals finding new loving homes. There were many more animals adopted from our Animal Center as well, inspired by our booth at the Big Fresno Fair.

Please enjoy and share these photos with friends and family, then visit us in person next year at the Big Fresno Fair.
