Mrs. Preas arrived at the shelter at 8:00 yesterday morning hoping to adopt one of our little Pet of the Week pups. She said Tiny Tim reminded her of a dog she had. She waited patiently for two hours (since we now open at 10:00am) and once we were open she already knew what she was looking for. She spent some time with Tiny Tim and was ready to adopt. She was very excited and thankful. While Tiny Tim was being adopted so was Noel (his sibling) and while leaving she kept saying “I hope the other one gets adopted” (St. Nick).
Sure enough, hours later she returns and whispers “did the other one get adopted?” When we tell her no, she smiles and makes her way to the kennels. She couldn’t resist and adopted St. Nick. We wish her many happy years with her new companions!
