Since our Foster Care program is booming, we saw a need for an veterinary exam room designed specifically for animals in Foster Care. Our shelter veterinarian, Dr. Breech, is responsible for examining all animals placed in foster care. Most of these animals are placed in foster care due to being too young, sick, or injured. That means that they need an extra eye and veterinary care. Before this room was renovated, Dr. Breech was seeing patients in the spay and neuter services area, which was not conducive to examining animals. The new exam room got a full “facelift” from floor to ceiling and is now set-up as a typical exam room. We are excited to have this room completed and ready to receive all foster care patients!
