Join us this Giving Tuesday, November 29, 2016 for the national day of giving back. On November 29, #GiveUsFive by donating $5 to help the animals in our care. With your donation of $5 you could feed a dog for 10 days or a cat for 28 days!
What is #givingtuesday? Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.
This year, support your local animal shelter of choice, the CCSPCA, by donating just $5. With your donation of $5 you could also provide vaccines for one dog or cat, vaccinate two dogs against rabies, or provide medication for kennel cough for one dog.
Funds generated through our #GiveUsFive #GIVINGTUESDAY campaign will assist us in reducing adoptions fees (which include spay/neuter services) as we launch our Home for the Holidays adoption campaign.
In addition, CCSPCA is participating in #GIVINGTUESDAY as a way to raise awareness for homeless cats and dogs at a time when many people are already focused on giving. We are hopeful that residents in the greater Fresno community will factor in our homeless pet population when they think of giving. By giving to the CCSPCA, donors help give animals the gift of life, hope, and happiness!
