For another great year the CCSPCA is proud to be part of the Fresno County Wine Journey at ApCal – Roll Out the Barrel Weekend! There will be a great selection of Fresno County wines on the shelves at ApCal, so if you can’t make it out to all the great wineries, stop by ApCal and taste them while visiting with our animal friends!
In addition to our wonderful animals, many of your favorite vendors will be on hand with great wine related gifts, jewelry, Bling clothing and much, much more. Wine will be poured from Bianchi winery, Bel-Air Bellini, and Ramos Torres Winery. There will be awesome BBQ available for purchase from Sadie Mae’s BBQ if you get hungry! So make plans to join us on April 14th-15th for the Fresno County Wine Journey.
Weather: The outlook is good! A light jacket or blanket might be a good idea.
Milla Vineyards has partnered up with local artist Leonard Filgate to create a very special label for a wine made exclusively for the shelter. All profits will be donated to the Fresno County S.P.C.A. Spay & Neuter program.
The wine will be introduced this weekend April 14th & 15th at the Fresno County Wine Journey.
We hope you will be able to spread the word for several reasons.
1. Positive announcement for the S.P.C.A.
2. Local businesses helping to solve a local epidemic
3. Letting the public know of an event this weekend that is FREE. Winetasting will be offered at all local Fresno wineries when they bring their own glass.
4. Showing Fresno that the S.P.C.A are not the bad guys.

Hello we had a wonderful turn out by compassionate caring people, ready to eat well and shop, all to raise funds for Spay Fresno. We had many sponsors that want to put an end to homeless pets. The seats were constantly full, we even filled our parking lot to capacity several times, the vendors at the Swap Meet made hundreds if not thousands of dollars, and we made a great amount for the Spay Fresno Fund!
Spay Fresno is a fund that helps low income families spay and neuter their animals. This is the link to the Spay Fresno page with information about the program. We are grateful for the community involvement to help spay and neuter many more animals!
The sunshine is out and so are the great visitors to the CCSPCA booth at the Home and Garden Show at the Fresno Fairgrounds!! Happy meows and wiggling wags are making everyone smile and share their love of animals!! We have found new homes for some of our furry babies and hope to find many more. Come out for the fun, the sun, and the joy. The Show goes until 7pm tonight and Sunday from 10 am to 6pm.
Celebrate World Spay Day, February 28th and 29th, by “Beating the Heat” for Cats and yes Kittens (they can have a litter at the age of 6 months). The CCSPCA will be offering a limited amount of FREE spays or neuters. This will be on a first come first serve basis with a maximum of 2 cats/kittens per household. Kittens will need to be 4 months of age and fully vaccinated, 6 months of age if not vaccinated. Must be healthy, no sneezing, diarrhea, coughing or any other illness.
Please call 559-489-0544 on Monday February 27 from 8am to 12pm or 1pm to 5pm to give your full contact information, your pets complete information, and an available call back number to be scheduled for your spays or neuters.
