Jazzy Jazmin – Happy Adoption Story

Posted on: January 12th, 2013 by CCSPCA

Special personalities can put a certain twinkle in your eye especially the eyes of our adoption agents. It is their passionate goal to find new homes for the animals in our care. They get to know the animals by spending time with them, photographing them, and promoting them. Jazmin had put that sparkle into one of our adoption agent’s eyes and that sparkle was passed along to an adoring adopting family.

Jazmin, now in her new home, seemed to know her fate rested in good hands as she posed for her “adopt me” photos by showing off her belly in faith of a bright future!

Posted on: November 22nd, 2012 by CCSPCA

Thank you are heartfelt words from all of our staff and volunteers to all of our giving supporters. We wish everyone health, happiness, and well being this Thanksgiving.

Brook, ID#335173, is thankful to be safe and well cared for this Thanksgiving. She is hoping for her forever family to walk through our doors this Holiday weekend. Brook is a young adult Terrier with all that is good shining through those eyes into yours. Please enjoy these Thanksgiving quotes as you celebrate family and friends, and those that love you unconditionally to the end.

“Not what we say about our blessings, but how we use them, is the true measure of our thanksgiving.”
― W.T. Purkiser

As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them. ~John Fitzgerald Kennedy

Thanksgiving, after all, is a word of action. ~W.J. Cameron

He who thanks but with the lips
Thanks but in part;
The full, the true Thanksgiving
Comes from the heart.
~J.A. Shedd

For each new morning with its light,
For rest and shelter of the night,
For health and food, for love and friends,
For everything Thy goodness sends.

Georgina adopted Jackson from Petsmart this weekend!

She had her arms full if love, wiggles, and kisses. The smile on new adopters, when they have found their companion, is what we all strive for and thrive on! This smile is passed like a torch of hope that spreads through all of our team members. Thank you Georgina, Jackson is a fortunate boy!

A Call To Action

A Call To Action is what is needed to get things done, to turn on the light to other options, to make a difference. We are thrilled and grateful for the Shelter Pet Projects recent ad campaigns that are shining a much needed light on “Adopting”. You can see the great billboards that are here in Fresno that give a clear call to action and make you smile at the same time.

“A person is the best thing to happen to a shelter pet” so true and now visually there for everyone to absorb. Sharing things that make us feel good make others want to do the same and this will certainly help more animals into new homes.

We hope you see the commercials and the billboards and share them with friends and family. We hope that many of you will get to take that action and bring the joy of an animal into your life. We hope that you realize as we do that it is the human element to the homeless pet crisis that will be the solution.
