If you missed the memo, we dubbed September “Horse Month” to give our noble steeds some much deserved recognition! Our 15 September Sweethearts compiled dating profiles for you to get to know them better, and they’re all still in need of loving forever homes. If you are interested in adopting (or know of someone who is), we would love for you to come down to the CCSPCA and visit us in person.
Here’s a breakdown of our adoption process:
- We encourage potential adopters to visit our barn and chat with Emma, our Livestock Handler, Monday through Friday between 8-11 AM or 12-3 pm.
- Regardless, you’ll need to fill out a questionnaire, which is available on our website: https://ccspca.com/adopt-a-horse/ You can turn in the completed application to our Adoption Center or email it to email@example.com.
- We review your questionnaire and if approved you’re notified!
Adoption fees for horses vary depending upon several factors including (but not limited to) age, training, medical issues, etc. If you have any other questions, please contact our Adoption Center via phone or email: firstname.lastname@example.org OR (559) 233-7722 ext. 119.
If adopting a horse isn’t in the cards for you right now, consider making an in-kind donation to help us care for them! If you’d like to bring a donation to the horses in our care, please bring your item(s) to the CCSPCA and check-in at our Adoption Center. One of our awesome staff members will happily assist you with more instructions. Thank you!
