Last year the CCSPCA and Regal Entertainment Group (REG) teamed up to give back to the community in more than one way! Employees from Edwards Fresno Stadium 22 & IMAX, a REG theater, signed up to volunteer at the CCSPCA. As part of this program, REG honors employees who volunteer and donate their time at a local non-profit organization by providing a monetary grant to the organization. 21 employees volunteered from March 2015 to December 2015, totaling in 305 hours. REG invited CCSPCA Executive Director, Linda Van Kirk, on Sunday, May 1 to Edwards Fresno Stadium in River Park to present us with a check totaling $6,250!
Linda Stolling, our Volunteer Services Manager said, “The volunteers did an excellent job when here and did everything from dog and cat care to office work. They were a hard working group!”
Edwards Fresno Stadium 22 & IMAX has also allowed us to set up information tables in their lobby at the openings of some animal related movies. Look for us there this summer during the premier of “The Secret Life of Pets.”
We are incredibly thankful for the 21 employees who picked the CCSPCA as their community benefit organization and to REG for offering this great program. We look forward to working with the Edwards Fresno Stadium 22 & IMAX and REG in the future.
