Sizzling Summer Vaccination Promotion Extended

With the weather warming up, it is an ideal time to take your dog camping, hiking, boating, and other outdoor activities. However, before you hit the trails, make sure your dog is protected from several summer threats – Leptospirosis, Lyme disease and Rattlesnake venom. All three of these threats can cause severe symptoms and be fatal if left untreated. Leptospirosis is transmitted from dog to dog by coming into contact (smelling, drinking infected water, etc.) with infected urine. Lepto is also zoonotic, which means that it can be transmitted from animal to human. Lyme disease is transmitted by ticks. Ticks are found all around the Valley and tend to be more active during the warmer months. Rattlesnakes are common to the Central Valley as well and are found often in grassy areas, foothills, and in country areas. Rattlesnakes are 20 percent more likely to attack dogs more so than humans. Don’t let your pets go unprotected this summer!

Our Small Animal Hospital is offering the Leptospirosis, Lyme disease, and Rattlesnake vaccines at low cost! Our Lepto vaccine is only $10.
