Animal Photo Booth Donation

Photographing shelter dogs and cats and sharing them on our website, Facebook, and Twitter is a great way to introduce our animals to their forever home. Good photos can help pets get adopted faster and can also attract potential adopters to the shelter.

Through a wonderful donation by the new team of John Burroughs, formerly of Village Photography, and Tom Milne of Milne Photography our animals will be getting studio quality photographs with our new animal photo booth!

These two award winning photographers built the animal booth keeping in mind the needs of the animals. The lighting will be fixed because the flash on the camera is what’s causes animals eyes to glow blue or white – not to mention the flash can also spook the animals. The background is a simple, easy to clean cloth that doesn’t take the focus away from the animal. Overall, the booth is designed so that the photos are taken at the same level as the dog’s to get the best and fullest view of the animal.

We greatly appreciate this donation and wish John and Tom success in their new partnership!
