FIND YOUR PET AT CCSPCA
In the Central Valley, we have an over abundance of homeless and unwanted pets. There are simply too many companion animals and not enough homes! But you can help. One way to start putting an end to pet overpopulation is to adopt your next pet from the Central California SPCA. In doing so, you immediately give a home to an animal that didn’t have one, and you reduce the overall number of homeless pets in our community.
You are saving a life and enhancing your own. You are also helping to support the nearly 4,500 animals that come through our doors each year.
Please note that these are sheltered, homeless animals that are not always perfect in every way. They may need extra time to adjust or have unforeseen behavioral or medical problems. While we strive for successful placement by providing as healthy, well socialized animals as possible, we can only provide any history we have received, collected, or observed from staff or volunteers during their stay.

Our adoption center has a large selection of puppies and dogs ranging in ages to choose from – many of them pure breeds. Let us assist you in finding your new best friend!

Looking for a feline to call your new friend?
The CCSPCA has dozens of kittens and cats to choose from, ranging in ages from 8 weeks to 18 years and beyond. We’re sure we can assist you in finding that special kitty.

ADOPT A SMALL PET
Are you looking for the perfect beginner pet? Try finding your first pet from our available small pets. Most of these animals are a great way to teach you and your family how to care for a pet.
Our small pet selection has a wide range of animals to choose from: rabbits, rats, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds, snakes, assorted reptiles, turtles, etc. Let us assist you in finding your new best friend. Please visit the CCSPCA Adoption Center, open Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Adoption fees for all small pets animals are very reasonable and are less than you would find in pet stores. The CCSPCA often has a wide variety of farm animals ranging from pigs, goats, sheep, and horses – all of which are looking to find a forever home.
