Dexter (A60323794) is a 8 month old, male, black and tan, Shar-Pei and Pit Bull Terrier blend who has been with us since February, making him one of our long-term pups. During his time with us, Dexter has had quite the journey. Because he is a mix of Shar-Pei and Pit Bull, he experienced some skin and coat issues that required a little extra care. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors who support our Wellness Fund, we were able to take Dexter to an outside veterinarian, where he received special shampoo and medication to help him feel and look his very best. We're so happy to say that Dexter is now looking better than ever and is ready to begin the next chapter of his life a forever home! From the moment he wakes up, Dexter is already on the case sniffing out clues, investigating squeaky toys, and carefully examining every corner of the room like it's part of an important mystery. This playful little pup is always looking for a partner to help him solve his latest "case." Despite his serious investigative work, Dexter is really just a goofy, lovable puppy at heart. His wagging tail, bright eyes, and endless curiosity make every day feel like a new adventure. With the right partner to assist him in his investigations, plenty of belly rubs as a reward, and a forever family to call his own, Detective Dexter is ready to crack every case and steal a few hearts along the way!
