Lucy, you got some 'splainin' to do! Lucy A60993445 is a beautiful 6 year old, female, brindle and white, Pit Bull blend with a heart that's ready for a fresh start. She came to the CCSPCA through an investigation case in heartbreaking condition, very underweight and covered in ticks. Thanks to the dedicated care, patience, and love from the CCSPCA staff, Lucy has made an incredible recovery and is now healthy, happy, and ready to find the forever family she deserves. Lucy may come across as a little intimidating when she's in her kennel. She tends to bark at people and other dogs, but once you spend some time with her, you'll discover a sweet, gentle soul who simply wants to be loved. Shelter life can be stressful, and Lucy is looking for a calm home where she can finally relax and feel safe. Lucy would likely do best as the only dog in the home and would be happiest in a household without small children. She is still working on her housetraining, so her new family should be patient and understanding as she continues to learn. With consistency, encouragement, and plenty of positive reinforcement, she's sure to keep making progress. More than anything, Lucy is looking for someone who will love her unconditionally and give her the second chance she's been waiting for.
