Meet Douglas A61860337, affectionately known as Doug! This handsome 2 year old, male, Chihuahua blend has a beautiful copper and black coat and a heart full of love just waiting to be shared. When Doug first arrived, he was a little shy and unsure of his surroundings, but with some patience and kindness from our staff, he slowly has come out of his shell and opened up his heart. Now, he absolutely loves being around people and soaking up all the attention he can get! Doug does well on a leash and seems to get along nicely with other dogs. He can get a little nervous in new situations, which sometimes causes him to have small accidents. He will need a family who understands that adjusting to a new home takes time and is willing to provide patience, encouragement, and continued potty training as he settles in. Doug also has a cherry eye that will need to be monitored by his new family's veterinarian. If you're looking for a sweet little companion who just wants to be loved, Doug might be the perfect addition to your family! With a little patience, a lot of love, and a cozy place to call home, this boy is ready to show you just how special he can be! Doug's cost of adoption includes:

Spay/Neuter
First set of vaccines
Rabies Vaccine
Routine dewormer
Free vet examination
Flea & tick treatment
Microchip
