  • Description/Contact Information: I am trying to rehome our cat Baxter. He is a seven-year-old male and one of the most friendliest loving cats I've ever had. He's a long-haired cat and as cute as can be. Baxter is also really good with children and incredibly patient and friendly. Our cat has never been unfriendly to anybody and as a matter of fact, always welcome strangers and people that may come over. Unfortunately, I am being challenged with a very difficult decision of rehoming Baxter because I have stage four ovarian cancer, and I have been told by my doctor that I should not have him living inside the house. Unfortunately, I'm not willing to put him outside because he only knows living inside the house. Also, we live in the country and I'm afraid that he may be harmed living outside with The amount of coyotes and harmful animals living out there. If you are interested in seeing Baxter or meeting him, please don't hesitate to contact me.

HOW PET REHOMING WORKS WITH CCSPCA

The animals featured on this page are being rehomed by pet owners in the Central Valley who live specifically in Fresno County and the surrounding counties of Kings, Madera, Merced, Monterey, San Benito, and Tulare.

These animals are not in the care of CCSPCA, so all arrangements to meet/adopt must be made between potential adopters and the pet owner. Note: Central California SPCA is not responsible for the pets on this page. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating with pet owners, especially when acquiring veterinary records and/or other necessary information.

PLEASE NOTE: We DO NOT rehome strays, fosters, rescues, abandoned, or found animals.
