  • Description/Contact Information: Bailey is a 3 year old American Pit Bull Terrier I adopted a year ago. At the time I was told she needs to be in a single dog household which it was at the time. I was not aware that she can act reactivly towards other dogs as well as cats. My curcumstances have changed and I will no longer be able to keep her as a single dog. Unfortunately, although we have tried, she will not get along with the dogs that I am going to be living with. It pains me that I need to find her a new home but I know this is whats best for all the pets involved. I have done a lot of training with her over the past year and she has come a long way. At this time I don't have the resources to afford a specialized trainer or to be able to house her seperatly from the other pets. With more training I believe she can become a great dog. She truley is an amazing dog with tons of personality. Everyone that meets her comments on how sweet she is. She just has a lot of feelings when it comes to other animals. She does well in a mellow or somewhat busy home. She is happy to be a couch potato but also enjoys some exercise. She has no bite history and I want to put her in a situation where I don't have to risk that happening due to other pets in the household.

HOW PET REHOMING WORKS WITH CCSPCA

The animals featured on this page are being rehomed by pet owners in the Central Valley who live specifically in Fresno County and the surrounding counties of Kings, Madera, Merced, Monterey, San Benito, and Tulare.

These animals are not in the care of CCSPCA, so all arrangements to meet/adopt must be made between potential adopters and the pet owner. Note: Central California SPCA is not responsible for the pets on this page. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating with pet owners, especially when acquiring veterinary records and/or other necessary information.

PLEASE NOTE: We DO NOT rehome strays, fosters, rescues, abandoned, or found animals.
