  • Description/Contact Information: We rehomed a 7 month old pit bull on 8/19 she is spayed , vaccinated but we weren't told she was abused and thrown by a teen since 6 weeks till after we got her and took her home . Then we were told. she keeps barking and growling attempting to bite me multiple times now she barks and growls and isnt too sure of my babies. We would love to train her but we have 5 kids and her being abused by kid supposidly is a huge risk I am not willing tonwait around for. We need her to go to a kid free home, she has high anxiety in kennel but she does sleep in it. Animal control wants to put her down . But she just needs lots of healing and training. She is a lover and wants to resource perfect due to being locked in a room for saftey at old owners which i was told after so being locked in a room triggers her we tried to have her in a room while recovering from spayed that was making her come out protective mode.

HOW PET REHOMING WORKS WITH CCSPCA

The animals featured on this page are being rehomed by pet owners in the Central Valley who live specifically in Fresno County and the surrounding counties of Kings, Madera, Merced, Monterey, San Benito, and Tulare.

These animals are not in the care of CCSPCA, so all arrangements to meet/adopt must be made between potential adopters and the pet owner. Note: Central California SPCA is not responsible for the pets on this page. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating with pet owners, especially when acquiring veterinary records and/or other necessary information.

PLEASE NOTE: We DO NOT rehome strays, fosters, rescues, abandoned, or found animals.
