LOOK At Me NOW!
Hi, my name is Mac.
When I first came into the CCSPCA, I wasn’t feeling too well. My tummy hurt real bad but I was so hungry. My care givers kept trying to get me to eat. My tummy hurt too bad. I just wanted to sleep. They would try all sorts of food to spark up my appetite, but I didn’t want it. There were these two girls who kept telling me I was going to be ok. But was I? Then they kept poking me in the back of my neck and filing it with water. But it always made me feel just a little bit better. Then they put food in my mouth and it tasted good but I still didn’t want to easy cause my tummy hurt. Why couldn’t they hear me tell them?
After a couple of days, these two girls would come visit me and put food down my throat, and poke me in the back of the neck with that water. They would ask me to eat, sit in my kennel and tell me how everything was going to be ok. But all I wanted to do was sleep, I had no energy.
On my third day, one of the two girls who visits me, started to play with my poop. I thought, well, have at it! Whatever floats your boat! Right after that she came back with this chalky stuff which tasted HORRIBLE! But WHAT A RELIEF!! After 3 days of that chalky stuff I was EATING! I then had enough strength to walk around and play like a normal guy. I have been at this shelter for one month.I feel like a celebrity because every time I seea blue shirt they say my name with a big smile. And those same two girls came to visit too.Man, what would I do without all of these wonderful humans?
Now I’m all better and I’m looking for my forever home. I love to play ball, I like children around 5 years and up, and oh yeah, I dont mind cats, in fact I love them. If you have a kitten we will play for hours. I promise I will be loyal to my humans and will always love them.
Sincerely, MAC
This letter is what did it and Danny fell in love with Mac and adopted him. Thank you ever so much Danny for giving Mac a loving forever home and being his human father!!!
