Super Sunday Adoptions!

Happy adoption of Wheto!

Happy adoption of Kelso!

Happy adoption of Scooter!

Congratulations to three of our pets for getting adopted this past Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Mcintosh adopted one of our little pre-spays. They are thinking of naming him “Scooter,” but they are not too sure yet. They are full-time travelers so they will be taking their new little companion with them on the road.

The MacIntosh family also adopted today! They adopted “Wheto.” Wheto has been here since about November, so we are very happy he has been adopted. His new family has given him the name “Thor” and they say one of the reasons they adopted was because they feel he fits into their crazy little family.

“Kelso,” one of our foster pets, was also adopted by the Alvarado Family. They were very excited to get him home to meet his new sister.

Congratulations to our pets and their new families. We wish the very best for them!

A True Blue Adopter

Patricia is the kind of person that makes our hearts sing! We constantly spread the message to adopt and not to buy. When we meet people that completely understand and adopt from shelters like ours, we are ever so grateful! Phantom our special little puppy that had injuries to overcome before going up for adoption, went home in Patricia’s caring arms after being adopted by her at PetSmart. Thank you Patricia for living one of the solutions to saving animals lives!!

Sammy, our pet of the week, has been adopted! There were 3 families that came in to adopt Sammy. Mrs. Layne was the lucky winner. She was in tears shortly after we had called her name. She was very happy and so are we! Congratulations Sammy, we are thrilled that you will be in your new loving home to celebrate the coming of the New Year!!

His new name is Charlie

Posted on: December 19th, 2012 by CCSPCA

The greatest gift for a puppy can be a new name from their forever family. The sound of the voice that comes from an excited adopter as they say their puppy’s new name translates into love and affection for the new member of their family. The puppies turn their heads with that cute “awe” look, almost as if they are making their ears fall away from their head so that they can soak it all in. This little puppy got his Christmas gift early. His new name is “Charlie”.

Karen adopted her new puppy, Rosetta!

Posted on: December 18th, 2012 by CCSPCA

It is always a happier holiday when you know one more baby will have a warm, safe, loving home to be in. To have the compassionate attention of an entire family is truly a gift, a gift that Rosetta will now get. Karen came into PetSmart and fell in love with Cuddles, one of our media animals, however she felt she needed a name that fit her beautiful personality, she adopted and bestowed the name Rosetta on her new little family member. The great thing about adopting is that it is a gift in so many ways, to so many beings, and certainly a gift that keeps on giving. Cheers to the entire happy Canaday family!!
