The Central California SPCA is thankful for the generosity of our pancake breakfast sponsors. These sponsors allow us to reach out to a broader community, and ultimately, save more lives through our low income, low cost Snip N Chip spay/neuter program. Thank you!
The magical Whisker Wonderland has returned to the Central California SPCA. On Saturday, December 8, from 5 to 9 p.m. Whisker Wonderland kicked off with a bang. Approximately 85 people attended opening night with their pets and children.

The Big Fresno Fair is not only the largest annual event in the Central Valley, it is the largest off-site adoption event for the CCSPCA. This year the staff had the thrill of sharing our new mobile unit, housing more animals in the air conditioned comfort that they enjoy.
Our Neuter Day on October 1st did prove to be Neuter-ific! Although many did not show up for their low cost neuter, we did have many grateful families take advantage of saving money while doing the right thing for their pets.
The heat didn’t keep many away from the opening day of the Big Fresno Fair! Lori E. and her husband started our Fair adoptions when they adopted Bubba, one of our Aussie puppies. The fair offers many ways to celebrate but we’re thrilled that adopting Bubba was Lori’s way to celebrate!
Halloween is just around the corner and that means it’s almost time for the Pooch Parade. The Tower District is hosting the fifth annual Whitie’s Pets Pooch Parade, Canine Carnival & Costume Contest on Saturday, October 27 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
The Big Fresno Fair starts October 3rd and the Central California SPCA will be there every day to help find homes for our animals. Last year we adopted out 60 animals to their forever homes.
The tradition continues with the grand adoptions from the Scottish Society’s Highland Games! We look so forward to this event, like we said, because we get the honor of visits from past adopters and their treasured companions.
We are off in the new mobile adoption unit on one of our favorite adventures, The Scottish Society’s Highland Gathering and Games!
We are taking all of the dogs out of the adoption kennels to the training yards to have a fun day in the sun!
We would like to remind you to Celebrate Safely this 4th of July and to provide you with a list of suggestions concerning your furry friend.
