Shirley M. Fisher, a long time supporter and donor of the Central California SPCA, generously donated funds for us to purchase two greatly needed large pieces of equipment. Ms. Fisher is the perfect fairy godmother with her appreciated annual donations and always making sure we receive needed donations of special request. With her recent donation, we purchased and installed a brand new commercial washer and dryer! With these new machines staff and volunteers will be able to complete our massive loads of laundry effectively. We complete 4,000 loads of laundry yearly and go through over 1,100 pounds of laundry soap! By having clean towels, toys, and blankets, we are able to provide much needed comfort to the animals in our care. Donors like Ms. Fisher impact more than just the fact they support our mission – they provide enrichment, effectiveness, and ease to our animals, employees, and volunteers.
