Please join us in extending a huge “Thank You” to all the hard working, dedicated Animal Control Officers at the Central California SPCA!
Each day our 17 animal control officers go out into the field to protect the lives of citizens and animals in the City of Fresno, as well as unincorporated areas of the county.
These dedicated men and women patrol busy streets, conduct humane investigations when animal cruelty is suspected, and find shelter for thousands of homeless animals every day of the week.
They also enforce local and state animal control and welfare laws; rescue animals that are stray, injured or in peril; and promote responsible pet ownership and animal care through counseling and enforcement.
