Plenty of holiday cheer was spread throughout the CCSPCA this holiday season. Still buzzing from our Rachael Ray $100K Challenge success, our Home for the Holidays adoption campaign was electrified and effective.
We had an amazing amount of adoptions this season, totaling 749 dogs and cats. The Home for the Holidays adoption sale dominated the entire month of December. Throughout the month of December all dogs/puppies, cats/kittens were $45. From December 25 to the end of the month, we dropped the price to $20 in hopes of emptying the animal center.
Each adoption package included a spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, one dose topical flea/tick control, routine deworming, city dog license (dogs only), a complimentary exam at the CCSPCA Small Animal Hospital, or by one of our participating veterinarians, and FREE gift of up to $750 in pet insurance. Congratulations to all the new pet parents! Thank you for supporting the CCSPCA and being a lifesaver.
During our Whisker Wonderland Day on December 20, the community came out with their pets to snap a picture with Santa and gaze at our holiday hand-painted outdoor displays. This yearly event is made possible by the many hard working staff members and volunteers at the CCSPCA and by Pelco by Schneider Electric through their generous monetary donation.
Thank you!
