Junior Volunteers Celebrate With Winter Party

December 14 was our last Junior Volunteer meeting of the year, so we recognized the efforts of our Junior Volunteers with appreciation certificates, a potluck, and a gift exchange.

Some of the fun and educational activities enjoyed by the youngsters included the following:

  • Played Pin the Ribbon on the Present and Bobbin’ for Apples
  • Dog Breed vs. Animal Question game in which contestants giving incorrect answers got silly-stringed!
  • White Elephant Gift Exchange
  • Award Ceremony for Junior Volunteers (ages 8-13)  who had given 40+hours during 2014
  • Discussed Spring 2015 upcoming workshop topics
