New Year’s Eve Pet Safety Tips

New Years Eve Safety Pic copyNew Year’s Day and the 4th of July become the highest intake dates for many animal shelters. Animals that stray away from home due to the loud noises and fireworks, show up lost and scared.

Here are some ways to make sure your pet is safe and happy this New Year’s Day:

1. Secure your fences
2. Put a collar and ID tag on your pet
3. Make sure your pet is microchipped
4. Keep your pet indoors, if possible

And if your pet goes missing, please look for them right away at your local animal shelter.

We offer $15 Microchips every Wednesday.
