One evening while our Animal Care Manager, Noah Gomez, began his volunteer training program, he asked everyone how many pets each volunteer owned. He looked over to this gentleman named Rick and told him he looks like he would own four dogs. Rick replied by saying he had none. Noah was surprised with his response.
Two months into volunteering, Rick signed up for our Adoption Agent Training class. After the training, Rick came over and shared his experience with Noah. Rick expressed how his volunteer experience with the CCSPCA has made a big difference in his life. Rick continued to tell Noah how upbeat he feels while working with the animals and how happy he is when he leaves knowing the positive impact he has made.
Rick is now a proud owner of two dogs he has adopted from CCSPCA! And these pets have changed his life in so many wonderful aspects.
