Downtown Fresno Winter Fest

Fresno’s inaugural WinterFest celebration will be held on Saturday, December 10 throughout downtown Fresno. The City of Fresno and multiple partners have united for a grand holiday celebration including lighting the annual City Hall Christmas tree! Ceremony begins at 5:30pm.

What was formerly known as Christmas at the Met has now moved over to Veteran’s Memorial Museum to be Christmas at the Vet! The exhibit will open at 10 a.m. and close when the tree auction begins at 7 p.m. following the City Hall tree lighting.

Across from the Veteran’s Memorial Museum, Hands on Central California will host an ornament decorating activity and will collect new, unused toys for homeless children at the Historic Water Tower. They will also be joined by the Central California SPCA from Noon to 5:30 p.m. for pet adoptions and fun crafts!

Visit the Tree Lighting Festival on ‘P’ Street in front of City Hall from 1 to 5 p.m. and enjoy a free Santa’s Village with children’s games, crafts, bounce houses and snow! Additionally, the festival features two community stages with performances all afternoon, food and craft vendors, Santa Photos and the Chrome Christmas Classic. Tree lighting ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Don’t miss Christmas through the eyes of a child in the 1890’s at the Meux Home Victorian Christmas celebration from 10 a.m. to 8 motorcross and trampoline athletes from Noon to 5:30 p.m. Then, following the daytime WinterFest activities, Club One is the featured night spot for the WinterFest party from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Make sure to pick-up a WinterFest passport at any of the locations above and plan to explore downtown Fresno! Collect a stamp at each stop then submit your completed passport at the tree lighting ceremony and you might win holiday shopping money or other prizes!

And finally, Club One Casino provide the excitement with an extreme sports exhibition featuring world class snowboard, motorcross and trampoline athletes from Noon to 5:30 p.m. Then, following the daytime WinterFest activities, Club One is the featured night spot for the WinterFest party from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.
