Tower District Pride Parade and Festival

Thank you to everyone at the Tower District’s Pride Parade and Festival.

The words can’t capture the excitement in the voice of those coming through the gate, they gain a little more hop in their step as they are saying…”there’s the puppies!”, or “oh I can’t wait to see the kitties!” We were able to find homes for some of our special-needs babies, some of our foster babies, and many of our juggled babies! The feeling of not being able to type in someone’s phone number fast enough to call them and tell them that their special boy they have nursed back from death just got adopted – priceless. Then their scream of happiness…precious and oh so rewarding.

We would like to thank Jeffrey Robinson and his great team for always taking such good care of us, always sending everyone over to see our adoptable animals at our booth, sending over those that know how to work their friends that need more companionship in their lives. This is an event that we look forward to each year and will have smiles until we roll out the mobile unit for next year!

This year we used our small, very overworked little unit. Next year we will have to fit our new mobile unit in “our spot.” YAY!
