It was another successful year at the Big Fresno Fair for the CCSPCA! 44 homeless animals found their forever home. Our education department reached hundreds of people giving tips on basic pet laws, the importance of spaying and neutering their pets, and information about the services that we offer. Our humane officers also shared the importance of their work and how to prevent animal cruelty, neglect, and abandonment with fair goers.
The debut of “Maggie’s Jammies” did incredibly well also! We sold 21 pairs of jammies, raising over $100 for the Wellness Fund! Thank you for all those purchased jammies to support a great cause.
We had 43 volunteers give over 560 hours during the length of the fair! Their dedication is irreplaceable and appreciated.
The Fresno Fair is an extremely beneficial opportunity for us. We are able to reach a wide variety of the community in efforts to share our message about the importance of saving a life, reducing pet overpopulation, and how to be responsible pet owners.
