All the dogs were severely emaciated; however, one Boxer named Maggie was the worst. She weighed only 18 pounds. Her normal weight should have been 50 pounds. According to doctors, one more week in her neglected environment, she would be dead.
They are all underweight. The group is like a wild horse colony with no resources. They have had no apparent human interaction and it appears that nothing has been done for them at all.
When they arrived they found 11 horses severely malnourished and extremely emaciated. The immediately seized all horses and brought them to the CCSPCA where the horses began their long, painful journey to health.
