Five Dogs Rescued from a Southeast Fresno Home due to Severe Neglect

Earlier last week two of our Humane Officers seized five dogs from a home in Southeast Fresno, CA due to severe neglect. The owners of these dogs refused to give them much needed veterinary care. All five dogs have been rescued and are in our watchful care. They’ve all been treated for fleas and ticks. The burned dog is being cared for in our small animal hospital. Unfortunately, the German Shepherd was humanely euthanized due to it’s severe physical complications.

We will be submitting a request for charges of animal neglect to the District Attorneys office.

If you would like to help care for these dogs and other animals rescued by our Humane Officers, please donate to our Wellness Fund.Thank you!
