Shila Korean BBQ Restaurant Raises $3,200 for Central California SPCA

Shila Korean BBQ Restaurant and community members banded together on September 23, 24, and 25 to celebrate the restaurant’s Grand Opening and raise money to benefit the CCSPCA.

“We had a wonderful turnout for our event,” said local owner Liqun (Lee) Zhang.  “Thank you to the greater Fresno/Clovis communities for your generous participation and support.”  Both Lee and his wife, Alicia Marie Amaya, are animal lovers and have two dogs, Cookie and Bokdoli.

Shila Korean BBQ donated the proceeds of $3,200 on October 18 at its Clovis location.  The proceeds will be used entirely for the CCSPCA’s low income, low cost spay/neuter program, Snip N Chip.

“As a non-profit, we rely heavily on the generosity of our supporters,” said Linda Van Kirk, Executive Director of the CCSPCA.  “Lee’s donation and partnership represents the type of community spirit that ensures our spay/neuter programs will continue to make strides in ending our community’s homeless pet population.”

We are very grateful for this opportunity to partner with Shila Korean BBQ.
