We are in Need of Dedicated Volunteers

Mike-Oliver-volunteer-CCSPCADo you have a love for children and a passion for teaching? The Central California SPCA is looking for dedicated volunteers to help us spread our message in the Central Valley. Our Education Outreach Program is gaining a reputation for excellence and we can no longer meet all the requests for presentations and field trips.

To accommodate and nurture this growth we need a larger team of dedicated educators and presenters.

Future, current and retired educators, along with those with public speaking and training experience are invited to join other education volunteers as we introduce all ages to information designed to enhance compassion and care for living creatures.

Education Outreach Team Volunteers will conduct CCSPCA’s Educational Programs including spay/neuter awareness, pet care outreach, dog bite prevention classes, animal careers seminars and Junior Volunteer activities, both on-site and at schools and other organizations throughout the valley.

Team member volunteers will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge in the humane education field with ongoing training and collaboration, while contributing to educating our community about important animal welfare issues.

If you or someone you know is interested please refer them to our Education Department at (559) 233-0115 or email education@ccspca.com.
