The Siberian Husky was very apprehensive, skittish, and scared. It took our officer over 40 minutes to catch him. Neighbors stated that the dog had those sores for over three months.
In September 2015, the officer seized the senior horse, named Mison. When she arrived at our animal center, we fed her senior horse feed, which she demolished.
A team consisting of our Animal Control Officers and Humane Officers rescued 29 dogs from her home.
When our office arrived she asked the family if there were puppies on the property. They denied having any puppies, however, one of the children residing at the residence said they had five puppies.
The initial call for help came from the Fresno Police Department at 3 p.m., saying they were on scene and a dog needed to be picked up because the owner was cooking drugs and blew up the apartment.
While at the CCSPCA, the staff would spend their breaks with Maggie by wrapping her up in their coats and blankets, to keep her warm.

When they arrived they found 11 horses severely malnourished and extremely emaciated.
The dogs were spotted in the back yard. One was completely down and feared dead, the other was still up on its feet, barely.
Animals were discovered in various stages of emaciation. Dogs were chained to trees scattered around the extremely cluttered property.
This poor animal was covered from head to toe in his own excrement and the only movement seen was his labored, shallow breathing.
