With all the turmoil in the news recently, the CCSPCA felt a need to publicly thank the law enforcement departments for their continued, brave service. Our Humane Officers often work alongside with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Department and Fresno Police Department on many different animal-related cases. We appreciate their support and dedicated service to this community. To show our continued support, our volunteer department created signs saying “The CCSPCA thanks the Sheriff’s department for their service” and “the CCSPCA thanks Fresno P.D. for their service.” Humane Officer Ramirez and License Investigator Johnson delivered the signs to both the police department and sheriff’s office. At the police department, as they were walking up to the front doors, an officer stopped them and asked them to reveal their sign. As soon as they turned it around to face him, his frown turned to a smile and he said “Right on!” We couldn’t agree more! To all the men and women serving this community, the CCSPCA is rooting for you and thanks you for your dedicated service.
