Tears of joy are a priceless gift at the CCSPCA.
It is a joyous occasion when you have to wave your hand though the tears to your team mates only to explain that they are “happy tears.” Those tears of joy soon turned to endless smiles and laughter because Roofus got adopted! Roofus had been through so much and all the while he wrapped himself around our hearts. There is a rippling sigh of relief throughout our team when an animal reaches the hopes that you have for them. Our team went above and beyond for Roofus. He had so many needs that no other organization had openings to fit him. Roofus needed extra attention, surgery, rehabilitation, and medication, not to mention the baths in between to keep him handsome for adopters. Our team donates a lot of their time and energy so that a re-homing opportunity is not missed and the animal goes to a desirable home.
