New Hospital Manager

New-Hospital-Manager-ccspcaMeet Anita Teurlings, CCSPCA’s new hospital manager!  Anita had an extensive background in building successful medical offices from the ground up.  She worked for 23 years at Children’s Hospital Central California, the last 14 as the Operations Manager in the emergency room.  Her duties included scheduling, statistics, quality assurance, payroll, budget, and incorporating an electronic status board.

In 2003, she left Children’s Hospital Central California and opened a Pediatric Urgent Care office with Dr. Szabo.  Since then, she has been sought out to open and/or reorganize numerous medical offices.  She applied for the CCSPCA’s hospital manager because she was ready for a change and felt that her skills could enhance our small animal hospital’s operation.

She has many plans for the hospital, but one of her main goals is to promote what the CCSPCA Small Animal Hospital offers.  “We offer affordable services with a friendly staff whose main concern is for the animals,” said Anita.

“CCSPCA staff promote and exhibit a sincere humane compassion for animals.” said Anita. “It’s a business, but it’s about taking care of the animals and I like that.”

On her free time, she enjoys spoiling her 8-year-old a German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix rescue dog, Iszabo.  You could also find her at her favorite fishing spot, Shaver or possibly on the San Joaquin River.  She is also dedicated to taking care of her 83-year-old mother, Mary.

We are extremely excited to have Anita be a member of our CCSPCA team!
