School Assembly – Columbia School

What a thrill to hear the chant “spay and neuter” from all the students at Columbia School that gathered for the CCSPCA Assembly. We were able to cover “All Dogs Can Bite” and how to care for animals. The students had great questions, and it is very encouraging to see how much they know and care about animals.

After the presentation, the student body president spoke these words as she handed us a donation, “On behalf of our Columbia Community, we would like to thank you for all you do in taking in and caring for thousands of animals each year. We also thank you for the educational presentations, like this one, and the many other services you provide to the public. We had a coin drive earlier this year and proudly present the SPCA with a check for $481.47

It was an honor to be at this school with Mantica, our little dog Smiley, and our great Education Staff!!!
