This year’s Bets for Pets felt the love, peace, and good vibes from the 60’s! Our Summer of Love theme was a big hit. Staff dressed up in tie dyed shirts and guests wore flower crowns, fringed vests, flowy shirts, and other 60’s attire. We had nearly 200 attendees and raised $15,000! All proceeds benefit our low cost spay and neuter fund, Wellness fund, and education department. Chuck’s BBQ served a delicious tri tip and chicken dinner, Gorilla Gurt sweetened the evening with their frozen yogurt desserts, Engelmann Cellars kept the wine flowing, and The Valley Cats boogied all night long. We had a wide assortment of silent auction items, as well as, a grand prize of $400 worth of scratchers. The grand prize winner was Rene Hicks. Good luck, Rene, hope you win big! We’d like to give a big groovy peace sign and applause to our generous sponsors: Les Natali, FTB Print & Mail, Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., DeWayne Zinkin Attorney at Law, American Sheet Metal, Andrade & Company, Pappy’s Fine Foods, Ball Tire Co., Robert V. Jensen Inc., and Central Valley Community Bank. Thank you for all that came out to enjoy a lovely evening and donated to a great cause. Don’t miss next year’s event! Stay tuned on our Facebook page and website for more information, ccspca.com.
