Princess Rescue Update & Donations Needed

On the morning of June 25 we received a complaint about a man beating his dog. Humane Officer Serena Ramirez responded to the call and found the dog severely injured bound to pieces of furniture in a hot garage. She quickly rushed the dog to Veterinary Emergency Services. They assessed the dog to find a frontal skull fracture and other relatively minor injuries. The following video shows the rescue and recovery of Princess, the rescued pit bull. The suspect, Tyrell Harris, has been arrested for animal cruelty. We will be charging Harris with felony animal abuse. Princess is currently recovering at our Small Animal Hospital. She is keeping in high spirits and loves getting frequent visits from staff.

Princess’ medical expenses have now reached over $6,000. We will need the help of this community to help save Princess. If you wish to help Princess, please donate to our Wellness Fund by going to our website: ccspca.com or calling 559-233-7722.
