He was a rescue back in 2016 and he was fully grown, but young back then. My best guess is he was 1 year or 2 at the most at that time, which makes him 11 or 12 now. He is a sweet, sweet dog - never been leashed or tied except for going on walks. He is older now and doesn't like going on walks as much, but he does get bursts of energy when he'll zoom around the yard. Our circumstances have changed and we're now looking for a great home for him where he'll be able to live out the rest of his life. He is a very sweet boy, and is talkative, loves playing with kids and other dogs. He is not aggressive in the least bit. He gets along with other dogs very well - if you have overly dominant or territorial dogs, this would not be a good place for him as he is generally submissive when in groups/packs and i don't want him to be bullied around. He does not do well with other small animals - he's caught various animals in the past which tell us he will strike if he gets the chance (cats, squirrels , opossums, chickens). He loved going on hikes and runs (under a quarter mile now that he's older), and we've taken him off leash into the Sierra.If this sounds like a dog you'd love to give a home to, please message me.
