HOW PET REHOMING WORKS WITH CCSPCA
The animals featured on this page are being rehomed by pet owners in the Central Valley who live specifically in Fresno County and the surrounding counties of Kings, Madera, Merced, Monterey, San Benito, and Tulare.
These animals are not in the care of CCSPCA, so all arrangements to meet/adopt must be made between potential adopters and the pet owner. Note: Central California SPCA is not responsible for the pets on this page. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating with pet owners, especially when acquiring veterinary records and/or other necessary information.
PLEASE NOTE: We DO NOT rehome strays, fosters, rescues, abandoned, or found animals.

- Description/Contact Information: My pet is 1 year old cocker spaniel named Nala. She is spayed. She currently lives in a mellow apartment home with another dog. Nala gets along well with my other dog and other pets. Nala is about 90% potty trained. Due the anxiety that is genetic in cocker spaniels, she occasionally has accidents inside the home 1-2x/month. Nala is loving and has never bitten anyone.
My apartment is unfortunately not suitable for Nala. Nala requires more space to run around and tire herself out. Nala requires patience as she experiences anxiety with multiple things. Unfortunately, her anxious personality does not mesh well with mine as she requires a lot of attention. She is always seeking to play, or be held. I am away from home quite a bit, which is not suitable for her due to anxious energy. The best home and pet owner for her would be someone that is familiar with the breed and is willing to have the patience for her. Possibly someone that spends more time at home. Nala does not have any current medical conditions and is up to date with vaccines.
