  • Description/Contact Information: Rocket is a 2-year-old neutered indoor healthy male cat. His pet mom died unexpectedly 6 weeks ago. I am a friend of the family and took Rocket to my house to help rehome him. I have 3 special needs cats and an energetic, playful 2-year-old boy does not fit well.
Rocket is a beautiful orange and white and super, super soft with medium-length fur. He loves to be petted and brushed and will cuddle a little. He is very sweet and playful and a joy to be around. If I did not have my 3 older special needs babies, I would absolutely keep Rocket. Rocket was with 1 person and no other animals. So, Rocket is not socialized yet. I have had him around my other cats 4 times and Rocket seemed confused. Rocket wanted to play, but my blind, disabled cats couldn't play the way Rocket wanted to.
I asked if Rocket ever bit anyone. There is no known story of him biting. I have had him for over a month and he has not bitten me. He has lightly nibbled on my hand while playing, but there was no aggression.
Rocket really is a sweet, wonderful, energetic, healthy, playful guy who needs a forever home.

HOW PET REHOMING WORKS WITH CCSPCA

The animals featured on this page are being rehomed by pet owners in the Central Valley who live specifically in Fresno County and the surrounding counties of Kings, Madera, Merced, Monterey, San Benito, and Tulare.

These animals are not in the care of CCSPCA, so all arrangements to meet/adopt must be made between potential adopters and the pet owner. Note: Central California SPCA is not responsible for the pets on this page. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating with pet owners, especially when acquiring veterinary records and/or other necessary information.

PLEASE NOTE: We DO NOT rehome strays, fosters, rescues, abandoned, or found animals.
